According to the game timing:
- scheduled tournaments, when the game starts and ends at a fixed time, or Sit&Go-tournaments, where the game begins right after the required number of players is present. Usually, Sit&Go-tournaments are played by and between 5 to 10 players and conducted constantly. In poker they are known as "one-table-tournaments". As for the casinos, that name can be used with regard to blackjack and other card games, but, of course, not to slots.

Scheduled tournaments are usually played by several tens or hundreds of players. Prize fund there is quite big. The next round may begin with the same or collected number of game pieces. According to a tournament rules, several rounds are possible.

So, you have registered in a tournament and begin to play. Technically, online casinos tournaments can be arranged for any of casino games. Most commonly, the tournaments are arranged for slots and blackjack games, although there are some roulette and other card game tournaments.
