The first is a video poker game called Lucky Draw. As implied by its name, Lucky Draw is presented in a western atmosphere. As its game description states, it is of a time in the wild west when stakes were high and guns were fast. The game is presented with illustrations of the familiar star badge of Old West sheriffs with the Lucky Draw wording etched on its surface. The cards are played against a backdrop of the old plank wood of a sheriff's office, just like any you'd see in an old western movie. The pay table resembles a Wanted poster, nailed to the sheriff's plank wall. You can play versions of the Jacks or Better, Joker Poker or Bonus Poker games here. Participants can bet up to four hands simultaneously, using a maximum of five coins for each hand. The pay table follows along, updating in real time all of the payouts per hand per coins bet. There is no difference in how this version of the game is played compared to others. There is, however, a way to speed up the animation regarding the dealing of the cards, so that they appear right when they are dealt.  The second themed Wager Works online casinos video poker game is named Phantom Belle. There is a great deal more detail in this game, with the setting resembling a haunted casino floor. The cards aren't shown in traditional fashion, lying horizontal in a line, but instead take on a 3-D effect. The dealer is a phantom whose only visible part is gloved hands that eerily deal the cards. The downside is that there are no new game versions. Just the same three that also come with the Lucky Draw. There are no multihand plays in the Phantom Belle, but the turbo feature is open to this game. The three video game variants are available as a Ten Play multi hand version, but there are no themes for this game, just the same old display as any other software game developers. The biggest flaw in the suite of Wager Works online casinos themed games is that there is no Auto Hold like the other video poker games. What this feature does is "hold" cards that are dealt that would lead to a winning hand. This prevents those new to the game from accidentally tossing those cards aside. They therefore lose less hands than they would if left to their own lack of skills. This feature, being absent from Wager Works makes their games not a favorite among the new crowd, but a challenge among the skilled players.
